April has been a busy month for us! August & I started off the month by traveling to Ames, Iowa to visit Amanda, Austin, and their new baby Eloise Olivia. It was August's first plane ride, and he did wonderfully!! He only cried a little bit even though it was a very stressful flight due to some bad weather in Chicago.
We had so much fun visiting baby Eloise. She is so beautiful and has a very loving family. August didn't really think much of her, except when his mommy tried to hold her. He was very jealous! However, he had lots of belly laughs when he was playing with the Lepper's golden retriever named Honey.
As April stretches on, August becomes more and more mobile. He has mastered the stairs, so we have to watch his every move! He is very proud of his first tooth, and his new ability to wave "bye-bye." His favorite person is probably the baby in the mirror (besides mommy and daddy of course), and he has become very attached to his beloved blankie!
In other news, Eric and I decided to put our house on the market and search for another home that's a little bigger....so cross your fingers for us as we enter this crazy housing market!
